    I wanted to like this I really did I love Satoshi Kon and some of his manga work such as Tropic of the Sea are legitimately wonderful But Dream Fossil is some of his earliest work from the 80s before he really matured as a storytell

    I wanted to love this collection so badly but I was sorely disappointed by it I’m a casual fan of Kon’s I absolutely loved Perfect Blue as well as Opus but I still haven’t seen all of his films and much like this one his manga Tropic of the Sea left much to be desired Looking at the cover of this collection and the name underneath the title I couldn’t help but get excited however I did not enjoy this mangaI found myself having a lot
